These systems are workhorses designed for continuous operation around 1 K, and optimized to meet the needs of labs requiring both cool-down, high cooling power, and rapid sample exchange, while maintaining the quality and reliability of all ZPC systems. The Continuous Cold systems are an ideal choice for researchers who don't require a dilution refrigerator's millikelvin temperature range but still desire an upgradable path and ease of use for sensitive experiments in fields like quantum technology and materials science.

Innovation in Low-Temperature Solutions

The ZPC 1 K Cryostat is a powerful tool that combines low-vibration technology with continuous cooling capabilities. The systems come in two different varieties: a standard system capable of reaching a base temperature of 1.4 K or an upgradeable version reaching 0.9 K. The rapid cooldown time of less than 10 hours allows users to minimize downtime, making the system ideal for experiments that require frequent temperature cycling and high throughput.

Both versions boast high cooling powers for those applications that require higher levels of heat dissipation.  Importantly, the temperature is stable over a large range of dissipated power, as shown in the figure below. Furthermore, both systems feature high-performance copper braids between the pulse tube and cooling stages, designed to minimize vibration and maintain high thermal conductivity for vibration sensitive experiments.

Compact footprint and system layout

The system’s compact design is available in a Model L frame with a footprint of just 1.8 m², or an ultra-compact 1.34 m², benchtop Model I design. Both configurations ensure that labs with limited space can still benefit from its capabilities without sacrificing performance.
