The University of Maryland Launches Its First Quantum Degree Program

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland has announced its new Minor in Quantum Science and Engineering. The minor is an interdisciplinary program that will be open to both Engineering (ENGR) and College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences (CMNS) students. This undergraduate minor is the university's first quantum degree program and one of the first undergraduate quantum programs in the United States.
