Infleqtion Collaborations with QuSTEAM and Wolfram to Accelerate Quantum Education, Innovation and Workforce Development
March 3, 2024 -- In a move to enhance quantum education and technology innovation, Infleqtion, the world’s leading quantum information company, today announced a new strategic alliance with QuSTEAM and partnership with Wolfram Research. Both collaborations underscore Infleqtion’s commitment to leading the quantum industry to commercial readiness, including advancing education, research and workforce development.
Neil Anderson, vice president of quantum cores at Infleqtion, said, “At the heart of these partnerships lies our commitment to not only advance quantum innovation but to expand and enrich the entire ecosystem through dedicated efforts in education and workforce development. Together with QuSTEAM and Wolfram, we're working to create the diverse talent pipeline required as more organizations begin deploying high-value quantum solutions.”
The alliance between Infleqtion and QuSTEAM brings together Infleqtion's innovative quantum solutions and QuSTEAM's educational initiatives to enhance quantum science education and training.
The two organizations will focus on expanding and improving undergraduate quantum education, integrating practical quantum technologies into the curriculum, and providing opportunities for hands-on learning experiences. In addition, the alliance aims to increase the quantum workforce pipeline through internships, workshops, and co-op opportunities.
Infleqtion also announced a partnership with Wolfram Research designed to foster a rich environment for quantum education and research, including designing and developing educational materials. Wolfram Research is one of the world's most respected computer, web and cloud software companies—as well as a powerhouse of scientific and technical innovation.
Under the terms of the agreement, Infleqtion will make its quantum matter platform, Oqtant, including its API, available for academic partners to research and develop educational materials using Oqtant and Wolfram’s Quantum Framework.
