The Platform For Digital And Quantum Innovation Of Quebec (PINQ²) And The Quantum Algorithms Institute (QAI) Announce Strategic Partnership
Montreal and Victoria, February 28, 2024 – The Quebec Digital and Quantum Innovation Platform (PINQ²) and the Quantum Algorithms Institute (QAI) based in British Columbia proudly announce an innovative partnership that will take advantage of the computing capabilities of the IBM computer Quantum System One located at IBM Bromont in Quebec.
As part of this unprecedented transnational collaboration, QAI provides access to PINQ²'s IBM Quantum System One computer to students and faculty at post-secondary institutions in British Columbia, giving them the opportunity to benefit from of the world-renowned system and expertise of the Quebec Quantum Innovation Zone. This initiative provides a gateway to one of the most advanced quantum systems in IBM's global fleet of quantum computers.
