SK Telecom, South Korea's largest wireless carrier by membership, on Wednesday unveiled the official name of its quantum alliance: X Quantum. In March, SK Telecom allied with six other companies (Nokia, SOS Lab, Xgate, Wooriro, KCS and IDQ Korea) to promote developments in the quantum ecosystem through exploring joint marketing and business opportunities.

Recently, the FBI’s Chicago office and the Chicago Quantum Exchange-led Bloch Quantum Tech Hub jointly hosted a symposium titled "Protecting Our Quantum Assets." This seminar aims to establish a nationally reproducible model for cooperation between the US quantum ecosystem and government agencies responsible for protecting national and asset security. The focus of the conference was on exploring potential threats and sharing information about existing efforts.

Quantum Algorithms Institute recently announced the Centre for Responsible Quantum Innovation and Technology to build a quantum technology ecosystem guided by the principles of ethics, inclusion, and sustainability. It will seek to address a wide range of ethical questions related to quantum technology through its objectives of research, and best practices, as well as collaboration and communication.
