Amazon’s Braket Platform Already Supports IQM’s New Quantum Processor and Extends the Service to the EU

Amazon AWS has announced that its quantum computing services platform, Amazon Braket, now supports Garnet, a new high-fidelity 20-qubit superconducting quantum processing unit (QPU) from IQM. In addition, it has extended the Braket platform to the European Union for the first time, with European users now able to access the Garnet QPU through its servers in Stockholm. The company says this provides researchers and developers in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific with convenient working hours and is expected to accelerate their research in quantum computing.
