Chicago Quantum Exchange Corporate Partner Dirac Labs Selected to Address Critical Water Challenges
May 07 2025 -- Chicago Quantum Exchange corporate partner Dirac Labs is one of five startups selected by the Great Lakes Innovation Accelerator to tackle pressing water challenges in the region. Dirac Labs, which is developing quantum sensors for navigation in GPS-denied waters and monitoring underwater infrastructure, will receive $100,000 in non-dilutive grant funding and participate in an intensive three-month program designed to “accelerate domestic innovation while strengthening American technological leadership.”
Dirac Labs joined the CQE in March, and is the second University of Wisconsin–Madison–incubated startup to do so. The company leverages quantum sensing and nanophotonics research to develop positioning, tracking, and navigation technologies for autonomous vehicles and other applications in both the commercial and defense sectors.
