CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., April 14, 2025 -- Today, the Chattanooga Quantum Collaborative (CQC) joins organizations around the world in celebrating World Quantum Day, an international recognition of the people, ideas, and technologies shaping the future of quantum science.

To mark the occasion, CQC has released a collection of accessible learning resources designed to help people explore quantum technology — no matter their current level of understanding. From interactive explainers to course modules developed in Chattanooga, the resources are meant to spark curiosity and expand awareness of quantum’s real-world potential.

Local partners like the Public Education Foundation and Tech Goes Home Chattanooga have contributed to the effort, creating content that supports learners across age groups and backgrounds — from K–12 students to adult upskillers and educators.

"World Quantum Day is more than a celebration — it's an invitation,” said Charlie Brock, CEO of the Chattanooga Quantum Collaborative. “We want to help people see that quantum isn’t just for physicists. Whether you’re a student, educator, business leader, or just curious, there’s something here for you.”

World Quantum Day is celebrated annually on April 14, honoring the foundational constant of quantum physics (Planck’s constant, 4.14 x 10⁻¹⁵ eV·s) and aiming to promote public awareness of quantum science worldwide.
