Pasqal To Advance Hybrid Quantum Computing With NVIDIA CUDA-Q Platform

Paris, France, March 20, 2025 -- Pasqal, a global leader in neutral-atom quantum computing, today announced a new technical integration with NVIDIA. Through the integration, Pasqal’s neutral-atom quantum computing units and cloud platform seamlessly connect to CUDA-Q, NVIDIA’s open-source platform for hybrid quantum-classical computing. With this collaboration, Pasqal customers have access to an expanded set of tools for developing and optimizing quantum applications.

To advance quantum computing capabilities and breakthroughs, software developers need access to a unified programming model across central processing units (CPU), graphics processing units (GPU), and quantum processing units (QPU). By integrating Pasqal’s neutral-atom quantum technology with CUDA-Q, software developers will have access to additional tools to create hybrid quantum programs in heterogeneous high-performance computing (HPC) environments. The integration will unlock new workflows on Pasqal’s QPU and expand the availability of quantum computing tools and applications to the HPC community.

A member of the NVIDIA Inception program for startups, Pasqal is integrating with CUDA-Q to complement its own open-source programming library Pulser, which enables users to create experiments tailored to specific neutral-atom devices. This provides a new programming interface that gives flexibility and control over programmable QPU parameters, enabling the creation of analog quantum programs that are outside the scope of traditional quantum circuit approaches. Alongside Pulser, CUDA-Q adds a user-friendly Python and high-performance C++ interface—so all quantum simulations and experiences can be performed with ease.
