The International Collaboration Involving IBM Will Utilize AI and Quantum Computing to Advance Healthcare and Life Sciences

Recently, Cleveland Clinic, IBM, and the STFC Hartree Centre in the UK have announced an innovative collaboration aimed at advancing healthcare and biomedical science through advanced computing technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing. They have launched two research projects, one of which will apply quantum computing to analyze large-scale data sets to identify molecular features in the body that better predict surgical response in patients with epilepsy.
