The Quantum Strategy Institute (QSI) announced the 2024 International Quantum Strategy Day (IQSD) competition, a unique opportunity for quantum enthusiasts to showcase their strategic skills and develop practical quantum applications, taking place on Friday, April 19th. This year, QSI is partnering with Terra Quantum, a leading quantum software company, to offer the winning team exclusive access to TQ42, Terra Quantum's cutting-edge quantum computing platform.

Rolls-Royce, Riverlane and Xanadu have secured more than £400,000 grant funding from Innovate UK to accelerate the development of applications that will allow quantum computers to model the flow of air through jet engines. An additional CAD $500,000 has been awarded from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) as part of a growing relationship between the UK and Canada on quantum computing technology and expertise.

Today, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) announced a total repayable investment of C$17.2 million to help 12 local companies commercialize their quantum products for the domestic and international markets and support 150 jobs.
