Quantum security startup Q*Bird has begun a partnership with the Port of Rotterdam, to upgrade its communications at a time when the security of critical infrastructure is a high priority around the world. Staying ahead of emerging security threats is critical for Europe’s largest port.

The Port of Rotterdam Authority and digital infrastructure solutions provider Eurofiber have partnered on an innovative project that aims to transform data security at one of the largest and busiest ports in Europe. Their partnership is focused on creating an advanced Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) network that employs quantum encryption to provide the highest level of security for data transfers.
