SandboxAQ and EY US Extend Strategic Alliance to Accelerate Adoption of Advanced Cryptographic and AI Security Solutions
PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 5, 2025 -- SandboxAQ announced today an extension of its strategic alliance with Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) to help global enterprises advance cryptographic security, ensure AI- and post-quantum readiness, and modernize cybersecurity operations. The alliance was first announced in June 2022. The agreement extends the integration of AQtive Guard, SandboxAQ's AI-powered cryptography management solution, and other technologies with leading cybersecurity, professional advisory, and consulting services from EY US to deliver complete, end-to-end solutions for clients.
As enterprises worldwide face new risks from AI-powered cyberattacks, AI agents and non-human identities (NHIs), and complex regulatory requirements, combining SandboxAQ's cutting-edge technologies with EY US teams' global cybersecurity experience provides customers with a powerful platform for cryptographic agility, risk reduction, and sustained regulatory compliance.
"AI continues to transform the cybersecurity landscape, creating new threat vectors, faster and more potent attacks, and increasingly challenging regulatory environments for enterprises across all industries," said Jack Hidary, CEO of SandboxAQ. "Through our strategic alliance with EY US, we're combining the most cutting-edge, AI-powered cybersecurity tools and solutions with world-class security consulting, systems design, and global deployment expertise to help enterprises future-proof their cybersecurity in an era of evolving and accelerating AI threats."
Through the alliance, EY US and SandboxAQ will pursue joint market opportunities, including coordinated go-to-market activities, client referrals and other pursuits, accelerating time-to-value for enterprises modernizing their cryptography and cybersecurity operations. Together, they will assist clients with planning, proofs of concepts, and solutions using SandboxAQ's cryptography management offerings, including post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness, NHI management, and AI-driven cryptographic visibility and risk management, helping clients achieve fine-grained visibility, automated risk mitigation, and seamless compliance across their digital ecosystems. SandboxAQ will leverage professional advisory and consulting services from EY US to help customers strategize, build, and execute on a modern cryptographic strategy that's aligned with fast-evolving regulatory requirements, such as FIPS 140-2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and emerging PQC mandates.
"AI can create incredible new opportunities for growth and innovation within enterprises but also novel cybersecurity risks from both human adversaries and machine-based systems. Mitigating these risks requires a holistic approach combining deep business, IT and security expertise with agile and effective AI-powered cybersecurity tools," said Rodrigo Madanes, EY Global Innovation Next Frontier AI/Tech Leader. "Our alliance with SandboxAQ brings together a comprehensive and strategic approach to cybersecurity that helps clients secure their most valuable assets and critical infrastructure. We look forward to our continued collaboration."
This new three-year agreement also provides a framework to extend the alliance to other member firms of the global EY network.
