$4 Million for Cutting-Edge Science Research Projects in Australia and India

February 10, 2025 -- AISRF is the Australian Government’s largest bilateral program dedicated to science. It has supported over 370 collaborative activities since 2006.
Round 16 offers grants from $200,000 to $1 million per project, with $4 million available in total. Collaborations can include joint research projects, workshops, fellowships and institutional partnerships.
To be eligible, projects must address priority areas and challenges common to both Australia and India:
- critical minerals processing technologies and methods
- quantum computing and communications
- remanufacturing and product end-of-use recovery
- biomanufacturing for industrial and consumer products, including biochemicals, biofuels and novel bio-based materials
- biotechnology for improved agricultural productivity and climate resilience
- RNA vaccines and biotherapeutics.
