Infleqtion Demonstrates Largest Neutral Atom Array in UK, Paving Way for Scalable Quantum Computing
Infleqtion, a global leader in quantum information technologies, today announced a key milestone in the Scalable Quantum Atomic Lattice computing tEstbed (SQALE) project—the successful demonstration of a 16x16 neutral atom array—the largest reported array of its kind in the UK. This achievement is a crucial step toward building scalable quantum processors capable of supporting fault-tolerant quantum computing.
Researchers Make Leap in Quantum Computing
Researchers Make Leap in Quantum Computing
a team of Harvard scientists has succeeded for the first time in trapping molecules to perform quantum operations. This feat was accomplished by using ultra-cold polar molecules as qubits, or the fundamental units of information that power the technology. The findings, recently published in the journal Nature, open new realms of possibility for harnessing the complexity of molecular structures for future applications.
Pasqal and EDF Paves the Way to Optimize Energy Management for Electric Vehicle Smart Charging With Neutral Atom Quantum Computing.
Pasqal and EDF Paves the Way to Optimize Energy Management for Electric Vehicle Smart Charging With Neutral Atom Quantum Computing.
Pasqal, a global leader in neutral-atom quantum computing, and the Grand Équipment National de Calcul Intensif (GENCI) have announced the experimental realization of a smart charging use case to successfully run energy demand forecasting on more than 100 qubits. In partnership with EDF – a major leader in energy transition – this project has demonstrated the potential of Pasqal’s technology in tackling forecasting and optimization challenges posed by the growing complexity of energy supply and demand as electric vehicle (EV) purchases increase.

Pasqal’s 100-Qubit Quantum Computer Has Arrived in Jülich, Germany
The Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) at Forschungszentrum Jülich received a 100-qubit quantum computer from Pasqal in mid-November. Pasqal is a world leader in neutral atoms quantum computing technology. The new quantum computer is part of the EuroHPC JU project HPCQS and will be coupled with the JURECA DC supercomputer at JSC. This will enable European researchers to use hybrid classical-quantum resources to solve complex challenges.

Demonstrating High-Fidelity Gates and the World’s Largest Entangled Logical Qubit State in Atom Computing’s Flagship Systems
In September Microsoft announced their collaboration with Atom Computing to build the world’s most powerful quantum machine, and create a unique commercial offering which is available for order today. Just two months after this announcement they are excited to share the news that together they have now entangled 24 logical qubits, setting a new world record. They also jointly demonstrated error detection, correction, and computation with 28 logical qubits on Atom’s flagship systems.
