BCG X and QuEra Computing Join Forces to Accelerate Quantum Value for Enterprises and Government Innovators

Industry / Press Release October 1, 2025

BOSTON — September 22, 2025 — QuEra Computing, the leader in neutral‑atom quantum computing, today announced that Boston Consulting Group’s BCG X AI Science Institute has joined the QuEra Quantum Alliance, a global partner program dedicated to accelerating the development, deployment, and utilization of neutral-atom quantum computers to solve the world’s most challenging computational problems. The collaboration combines BCG’s digital strategy and transformation expertise with QuEra’s scalable neutral-atom systems and application codesign, enabling clients to progress from prioritized use cases to validated quantum prototypes.

As quantum moves from “One Day” to “Day One,” organizations increasingly pair strategic planning with hands‑on development. Many organizations, for instance, work with BCG to define their quantum strategy and then they may go on to partner with QuEra to co‑design quantum applications that fit, validate, and pressure‑test that strategy on hardware architected for scale.

Jean-François Bobier, Partner and Vice President,  BCG X AI Science Institute: “Quantum is entering a pragmatic phase. Leaders don’t need hype, they need problem-first roadmaps and the means to test them quickly. By aligning BCG’s domain-led strategy with QuEra’s neutral-atom technology and application codesign expertise, we can shorten the path from hypotheses to validated advantage, moving customers decisively from ‘one day’ to ‘day one’.”

Yuval Boger, Chief Commercial Officer, QuEra Computing: “Neutral‑atom platforms are designed for scale and for the error‑corrected future, but customers also need the right problems, proofs, and partners. BCG’s rigor in strategy and change management, combined with our hardware and co‑design approach, gives enterprise innovators, HPC centers, and governments a credible way to turn high‑value use cases into working quantum experiments today—and production‑grade solutions tomorrow.”

How the collaboration works

Together, BCG X and QuEra will help clients:

  • Identify and prioritize use cases with clear business value, classical baselines, and measurable success criteria.
  • Assess algorithmic fit and complexity, selecting quantum approaches that are technically and economically plausible on near-term and fault-tolerant roadmaps.
  • Plan for scaleup with workforce upskilling, integration patterns, and a glide path to error-corrected solutions.

Why neutral‑atom now

QuEra’s neutral-atom architecture leverages arrays of laser-trapped atoms and hyper-fine atomic interactions, offering a natural path to powerful systems, impactful algorithms, and a deployment-friendly footprint and power consumption, providing a strong foundation for near-term experiments and future fault-tolerant workloads.

Availability

Joint engagements are available immediately through BCG and QuEra. Organizations can begin with a short, structured discovery to align use cases, benchmarks, and success metrics before launching a proof of value sprint on QuEra hardware.
