Fujitsu today announced the winners of its Quantum Simulator Challenge 2024, a competition to foster open innovation and identify practicial use cases for quantum computing. The awards ceremony will take place at Fujitsu Quantum Day 2025 Japan, an event for the quantum community, to be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Fujitsu Uvance Kawasaki Tower.

QunaSys is proud to announce that it has been awarded funding from the Innovation Fund Denmark as part of the HyperTenQ project, an initiative aimed at advancing quantum computing for chemistry. With an investment of DKK 19 million, this prestigious grant recognizes QunaSys’s leadership in quantum computing and its potential to transform materials science, drug discovery, and sustainable technologies.

Quantum computing platform leader Classiq Technologies, Deloitte Tohmatsu Group, a pioneer in the demonstration of quantum computing use cases in industry, and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation are working together to explore materials development in the chemical field, including new organic electroluminescent (EL) materials. Deloitte successfully conducted a demonstration experiment (hereinafter referred to as "this demonstration") to shorten the quantum circuit (calculation logic of the algorithm used on a quantum computer) during development.
