Infleqtion Appoints J. Eric Bjornholt to Its Board of Directors

January 27, 2026 -- Infleqtion, a global leader in quantum sensing and quantum computing powered by neutral-atom technology, announced the appointment of J. Eric Bjornholt to its Board of Directors effective immediately. Bjornholt brings more than three decades of finance and advisory experience, joining Infleqtion as the Company advances toward its planned public listing. The company announced in September that it plans to go public through a business combination with Churchill Capital Corp X (“Churchill X”), a special purpose acquisition company.

Bjornholt currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Microchip Technology Inc. , a global leader in semiconductor solutions with a market capitalization of more than $40 billion. He joined Microchip in 1995 and has served as CFO since 2009. Prior to Microchip, Bjornholt worked at KPMG LLP, and is a Certified PublicAccountant (CPA) bringing deep expertise in financial leadership and governance to Infleqtion as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Bjornholt will serve as Chair of the Board’s Audit Committee.

Bjornholt holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in Tax from Arizona State University.

Infleqtion’s product portfolio includes quantum computers, quantum optical clocks, RF receivers, and inertial sensors, all engineered for real-world deployment and optimized with Infleqtion’s proprietary software. These systems are already in use by the U.S. Department of War, NASA, and the U.K. government, and also form elements of multiple collaborations with NVIDIA.
