Fortanix Bolsters Leadership Team to Accelerate Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Readiness for Global Enterprises

Industry / Press Release September 12, 2025

SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 11 2025 -- Fortanix Inc., a global leader in data security for an AI world, today announced a key leadership change to support its mission of helping enterprises prepare for a post-quantum future. Specifically, the company has promoted Patrick Conte to the expanded role of chief revenue officer, replacing Ron Longo, who will remain with the company in an advisory role.

As governments and regulatory bodies worldwide develop new policies to address the looming threat of quantum computing, organizations are prioritizing security, compliance and resilience in a rapidly shifting landscape. Fortanix has uniquely positioned itself to guide enterprises through this transformation with its unified data security platform, powered by next-generation hardware security modules (HSMs) and Confidential Computing technologies.

“With so much uncertainty surrounding the coming post-quantum era, we aim to turn PQC complexity into actionable insights, strategic priorities and streamlined operations,” said Anand Kashyap, CEO and co-founder of Fortanix. “The company and the leadership team is focused on helping enterprises embrace what would be an otherwise uncertain quantum-safe future with confidence.”

Patrick Conte Promoted to Chief Revenue Officer

Patrick Conte, who joined Fortanix in 2019 and most recently served as vice president and general manager for Americas sales and channels, will now take on an expanded role as chief revenue officer with responsibility for worldwide go-to-market strategy and execution. His proven track record of driving growth and customer success will be instrumental as Fortanix continues its global expansion.

Earlier in his career, Conte served as chief commercial officer at Opsani, which was acquired by Cisco in 2022. He has also held positions at Topspin, HyTrust, Scale Computing, Azul Systems, and Cobalt Networks, among others.

Ron Longo Transitions to Advisor Role

Ron Longo will remain closely connected to Fortanix as an advisor. He will also be pursuing a new opportunity as CEO of a startup.

With these changes, Fortanix is doubling down on its mission to deliver unified, future-proof data security, empowering enterprises to secure sensitive data at rest, in motion, and in use while preparing for the quantum era.
