AIST and Quantum Delta NL Has Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Social Implementation of Quantum Technology

May 21 2025 -- The National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Quantum Delta NL, an independent foundation supported by the Dutch government and acting as a public-private fund, to strengthen cooperation on the social implementation of quantum technology. Through this partnership, Quantum Delta NL and the Global Research and Development Center for Business by Quantum-AI Technology (G-QuAT) will discuss the possibility of jointly advancing the social implementation of quantum technology in both Japan and the Netherlands, share best practices, and gather knowledge, with the aim of leading the social implementation of quantum technology in both countries around the world.

Both parties also agree to conduct workshops, symposiums or hackathons as well as to consider exchanging researchers and pursuing possible joint research projects in areas of common interest. Strengthening the collaboration between the two institutions is expected to lead to new technological developments and market creation in the continuing acceleration of the industrialization of quantum technology.
