The Two Quantum Technology Projects at the University of Maryland Received a $320,000 Grant

The University of Maryland's two quantum technology projects have received a $320,000 grant from a Maryland state program aimed at bolstering innovation infrastructure development. Quantum Startup Foundry received $119,000, which will be used for the implementation of its "shared lab" concept. And the quantum startup QC82 received $200,000 for the construction of a 1,000 square-foot integrated photonics testing and packaging facility.
