D-Wave Will Deploy an Advantage Quantum Computer at Davidson Technologies
D-Wave Quantum announced yesterday that Davidson Technologies Inc., a company dedicated to providing innovative engineering, technical, and management solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, aerospace, and commercial customers, will deploy an Advantage quantum computer. This is the second Advantage quantum computer deployed in the United States and will be housed at Davidson Technologies’ new global headquarters in Huntsville.

Heidi Shyu, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, recently visited IQM Quantum Computers in Espoo, Finland. During her visit, she observed the company's advancements in building quantum computers and processors, toured IQM’s state-of-the-art fabrication and cryogenic characterization facility dedicated to quantum processors, and met with some executives from IQM and Bluefors.
