Quantum Motion Appoints Anna Stockklauser as Chief Product Officer

Business September 15, 2026

LONDON, UK – September 10,2026 -- Quantum Motion, the leading company in silicon transistor-based quantum computing, today announced the promotion of Dr. Anna Stockklauser from VP of Product to Chief Product Officer (CPO). In her expanded role, Stockklauser will lead the global product organisation overseeing product strategy, development, and roadmap delivery at the intersection of engineering, operations and commercial teams as Quantum Motion scales its hardware development and rollout.

The appointment marks Quantum Motion’s strategic transition from primary engineering development to active field deployments. Since joining the company in February 2023, Stockklauser defined and delivered the product and technology roadmap that underpinned the deployment of the world’s first commercial silicon spin-qubit system at the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC), led Quantum Motion’s progression in DARPA’s QBI program and drove critical hardware delivery milestones. The promotion came alongside Quantum Motion’s $160 million Series C funding round in May 2026, led by DCVC and Kembara.

“Anna has been instrumental in taking our technology out of the lab and into real-world environments. As Chief Product Officer, she will continue to set the technical direction for what we build and how we deploy it in the field, ensuring our product roadmap stays aligned with the needs of enterprise data centres and global partners.” says James Palles-Dimmock, CEO of Quantum Motion.

“Quantum Motion’s ability to build quantum processors using standard silicon manufacturing presents the clearest path to utility-scale quantum computing. Having delivered our initial system to the NQCC, I am excited to step into the CPO role at such a key moment in the quantum field. I look forward to continuing to lead our product strategy as we scale technical development, expand commercial partnerships, and integrate our hardware into enterprise infrastructure globally.” says Anna Stockklauser, CPO of Quantum Motion.

Prior to joining Quantum Motion, Stockklauser was Director of Product Strategy at Rigetti, where she established the UK hardware operation and brought Rigetti’s first Quantum Computing Centre outside the US online. She earned her PhD in 2017 from ETH Zurich’s Quantum Device Lab and Nanophysics group, specializing in hybrid quantum systems that combine superconducting circuits and semiconductor quantum dots.
