Quside Joins the PROMISE Project to Drive Innovation in Integrated Photonics
March 24, 2025 -- Quside is proud to announce its participation in the PROMISE project, an ambitious initiative focused on the research and development of next-generation hybrid reprogrammable integrated photonic circuits. This project will enable advancements in telecommunications, quantum technologies, sensing, and space and security systems.
The PROMISE project is coordinated by Tecnobit and has been awarded funding by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación (CDTI) with support from the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities. As part of the 2024 call for the Missions Science and Innovation Program, it aligns with the objectives of Mission 3: Development and Strengthening of the Spanish Integrated Photonics Ecosystem.
The project brings together leading industry players, including Tecnobit, Telefónica Innovación Digital, Quside, Sparc Foundry, and Zepren Solutions, to advance the integration of cutting-edge photonic technologies across multiple industries. The collaboration aims to drive new system architectures, components, and subsystems, fostering groundbreaking solutions for critical applications.
