October 30, 2024 -- IDEMIA Secure Transactions (IST) is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the NIST National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) to take part in its migration to Post-Quantum Cryptography Project. This project is dedicated to bringing awareness to the issues involved in migrating to post-quantum algorithms and to develop practices to ease migration from current public-key algorithms to replacement algorithms.

As a leader of cryptography and security solutions, IST will focus on safeguarding data in transit, optimizing performance of applications involving constrained environments, and preparing critical devices for post-quantum migration. IDEMIA Secure Transactions is a pioneer in post-quantum technology and was the first company to announce the availability of a quantum-resistant 5G SIM in 2022.
