No-Cost Access to Qunova’s HI-VQE Algorithm Available for a Limited-Time Through IBM Qiskit Functions Catalog

Business / Press Release November 24, 2025

DAEJEON, South Korea, November 20 2025 -- Qunova Computing, a developer of software applications designed with the goal of bringing quantum advantage to the chemical, pharmaceutical and industrial engineering sectors today announces its participation in a new promotion for IBM Quantum Premium Plan clients. Those users may now access Qunova’s HI-VQE algorithm for free for a period of 12 months, through the IBM Qiskit Functions Catalog. This offers another tool for computational chemists to explore research problems at scale.

From now until March 31, 2026, IBM Quantum Premium Plan clients have the opportunity to take advantage of one year of free access to a selection of Qiskit Functions, including HI-VQE.

“IBM’s goal is to bring useful quantum computing to the world, and it is now taking the unprecedented step of offering its premium plan clients a full year of select Qiskit Function access. These users may now

choose to work on complex calculations for chemistry, pharmaceuticals and materials science using Qunova’s HI-VQE algorithm at no additional cost. This lowers any barriers to access which may have been in place, and we applaud IBM for taking this initiative,” said Kevin June-Koo Rhee, Qunova’s CEO and Founder.

Qunova is the only quantum software company explicitly dedicated to developing solutions for chemistry-focused applications. Its flagship product, HI-VQE, is one of the most accessible quantum

computing applications available today. The company anticipates this promotion will accelerate growth in the number of HI-VQE users and encourage more computational chemists to explore chemistry problems with quantum computing.
